The Loyalist Flag

The flag flown by our Loyalist forefathers when they fled the newly formed United States of America was not the Union Jack. The Union Jack was first flown in 1801 when Ireland joined the British Union.

The Loyalist Rose is from the Rosa Alba family and was registered in about 1976 with the International Registration Authority for Roses by Ethel MacLeod.
